  1. So glad you gave Greg some “ink.” As you noted, The Cultural Revolution book is essentially a grouping of some of his blog posts; because of that, I had already read most of the content and found little new. Nevertheless, it was content it appreciated and enjoyed rereading.

The Virtual Missionary, however, was all new to me and I found myself lighting up with ideas, and even shot a recommend for the book off to our stake presidency. Our ward and stake presence is pretty dismal; Greg presented strong arguments as to why that needs to change throughout the church, and how to make it happen. A very practical and timely publication.

  2. Thanks for this review. “The Virtual Missionary” sounds like a useful resource for us bloggers. Clayton M. Christiansen’s “The Power of Everyday Missionaries” has a chapter about sharing the gospel online, which was my inspiration for starting my blog, but I will have to pick up a copy of Trimble’s book because it sounds like it gives a more detailed treatment to the subject.
