  1. If one wants their understanding of the plan of salvation informed by the quoted philosophers, this would seem to be the place to obtain those views, for what they are worth.

If someone wants their gospel understanding informed by the teachings of prophets and apostles, I see little of that here. I also find them teaching the gospel much more accurately than what is here displayed.

Personally, I believe little that is presented here.

I believe Jesus suffered and died (atoned) for the sins of all mankind, but only those who repent and obey and receive saving ordinances in this life or the next will be exalted and become as God is.

The rest will have immortality in other kingdoms of glory. There is no universal exaltation for all in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and anyone that teaches there is speaks contrary to the scriptures (D&C 76 & 88) and prophetic teachings.

There are MUCH better resources for Come, Follow Me than this to be found. Prophetic quotations are wrested here.

There was indeed a universal apostasy with no priesthood authority to be found on earth after the death of the NT apostles. Those teaching contrary to this are teaching false doctrine and contrary to the long-established position of the Church.

  2. I am grateful for the enlightenment and insight you have given me into the baptismal covenant, its relationship to the Godhead, and the overall plan of salvation and destiny of the Church. I find much of value that is presented here. Thank you.

  3. Thank you for this. I like to remember and to teach that God cries when we fight amongst ourselves. I appreciate Givens’ soft heart.
