  1. For well over a century, the LDS community has generally been a successful minority (in this case a religious minority). This has long included developing and building homes, neighborhoods, towns, farms and ranches and other agricultural entities, banks and financial institutions, businesses, educational institutions, and – yes – shopping malls. In short, pretty much a successful regional economy from the ground up.
    These are the things that successful minorities do. Successful minorities, in other words, do not play into other peoples’ guilt feelings or their agenda of victimhood.
